After years of disappointment and false hope, it is time for Congress to make good on its promise of comprehensive immigration reform. We need a single and cohesive set of policies that is both humane and in-tune with American ideals and values, and protects the rights of all people, regardless of their immigration status. Please bring comprehensive immigration reform to the floor as soon as possible!

Following the recent announcement that President Obama will halt the deportation of DREAMers, the Supreme Court has announced that they will let stand the despicable "Papers, please" provision of Arizona's SB 1070 that allows police to profile individuals based on the color of their skin. Our country's urgent need for a comprehensive solution for our broken immigration system has never been clearer.
