Tie congressional pay to a government shutdown

If the government shuts down due to Congress being unable to come to agreements, then furlough their $174,000 (and John Boehner's $223,500) salaries.

Why is this important?

Congress is willing to furlough their own staffers along with more than 800,000 federal workers, while they suffer no monetary loss at all. If they think it is okay to shut the government down (or not raise the debt ceiling), then they should be the first ones to suffer from it.
