Transgender rights
Transgender people deserve civil rights in all 50 states. We've been granted them in 18 states and DC, but this issue, like gay marriage, is not the decision of the states, no more than slavery was. Please make it a federal law!
Why is this important?
I am transgender, and have been affected greatly by recent state laws, or lack of them. I live in MD, where we have our civil rights. There have been no problems (including in the bathroom). Please allow all transgender people the freedoms I now have.
