Please don't strip gray wolves of their federal protection.
Why is this important?
President Obama's Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed stripping gray wolves of federal protection, thus opening the door to mass poisoning, trapping and shooting from helicopters. Gray wolf populations have not sufficiently recovered to enable them to survive the resumption of extermination efforts. They are a necessary species in the ecosystem, and we must afford them protection until they are recovered. Sound science supports keeping them listed, and not letting cattle ranchers and trophy hunters win the day.
