Voting Machine Reform

By Courtney Crum (Contact)

To be delivered to: The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate

Petition Statement
Those running for government office should have no financial ties to the voting machines used in their own elections. Additionally, the public needs to have access to electronic vote counts to verify the accuracy of the election results.

Petition Background

Mitt Romney has financial ties to some of the voting machines being used in the presidential elections and I'm concerned about the accuracy of the vote counts on those machines. There are no legal way for the public to recheck the accuracy of the vote counts provided by the machines. The public deserves access to the vote count to ensure the tally is not manipulated.
