Steve McNall, of Lacey, Washington, lost his life to an infected tooth—because he couldn’t get affordable dental care. You can help prevent this tragedy from happening again.
Without dental care, many children and adults live in pain, miss school or work and in extreme cases, face life-threatening emergencies—and like Steve, even death. More and more people get in line for charity care, or seek costly and temporary relief in emergency rooms.
It doesn’t have to be this way. In other states, mid-level dental providers—trained professionals that work with a dentist to provide routine services—are helping to close the gap between those who get dental care, and those who don’t.
Allow mid-level providers to practice in Washington state, and get our kids and communities the care they need.
