We the Unemployed Do Not Support Violence in any Form and We Would like to Offer Our Sincere Apol...

We are offering our sincere apologies for the actions of one person, who happened to be unemployed, who is scared, and in his fear made a very grave decision. We hope that you, Mrs. Boehner, can see and understand that all of us who sign this petition agree that these actions against you and your family are wrong and that we did not support this. We hope that you can understand that the fear of being homeless, having no job, not being able to eat, and the inability to care for ones family can cause someone to do things they should not and normally would not do. We the unemployed try to support, encourage and keep each other hopeful as best as we can, but sadly we cannot always reach everyone. We are very sorry this has happened and we will continue to do our best to ensure that we reach out to all the unemployed and attempt to offer them emotional support, resources and encouragement during these trying times.

Why is this important?

This Petition was started, because we the unemployed need to ensure that Mrs. Boehner and the Public are aware that the actions of one do not reflect the beliefs of us all, and that we do not support Violence in any way. We are scared and we feel abandoned by our Government. We actively stand up for Our Liberties as “We the People” to have our inalienable Rights of “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”. In order for us to have these Rights, we must be able to obtain reliable and gainful employment. Unfortunately there are over 10 million people in this Country unemployed and less then 4 million jobs, which means that too many people are struggling on a daily basis just to feed themselves and care for their families, let alone have a roof over their heads. This situation creates a fear within people that is beyond devastating, and sadly, not all can endure this rationally.

We will continue to do our best to seek each other out to offer support, resources and encouragement to remain strong and hopeful that this will all end, and someday every person in this Country will have a chance at reliable and gainful employment. We have created a website that lists information for public resources, support, job information, veteran information and much more. www.empoweringpeoplewithavoice.com We also have many support groups as well, that are designed to reach out to the unemployed and give them a place to come together and help each other. We have dedicated our lives to ensuring that everyone who wants a job will be able to obtain one in the future, as well as to the support of each other during this national crisis. We will continue to do our best to reach out to everyone that is unemployed, and ensure that they are encouraged not to commit any violent acts in any form, but please understand that although we do our best, we are unable to ensure that everyone complies.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter, and I hope that we can show you that we are so very truly sorry about what has happened.
