Mayor Williams has been failing this city for years. His inability to develop a plan to reduce violent crime has led to the city being named Murdertown, USA.
Why is this important?
Property values are dropping and companies are moving out of the city to avoid crime and are taking tax revenues with them. (Boy, I wonder who is going to make up that deficit? Maybe the ones who stay?) Crime is out of control and Williams' brainstorm was to introduce Coffee with a Cop. SERIOUSLY?
Then Williams instituted a homicide unit, probably a year late. He also feels the need to bash articles and the media about calling the city Murdertown instead of addressing the issue. He can save faith by standing up, raising his hand, saying he is in over his head and needs some help.
