Youtube, Google, support and defend the U. S. Constitution!

Calling on YouTube and Google to rebuff and reject any attempts at censorship of videos by the Israeli government!

Why is this important?

We, the undersigned, customers of Google and YouTube, find the attempt at censorship displayed in the article, "Israel meets with Google and YouTube to discuss censoring Palestinian videos", very disturbing to say the least.

First, Prime Minister Netanyahu tries to direct our political affairs here in the U.S., bypasses and insults our President, and, breaking established protocol, speaks without clearance to our Congress. How would he feel if our President completely ignored him and spoke directly to the Knesset?

Now, in the latest attempt at out of boundaries manipulation, Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely crosses the line by trying to control and censor Social Media! The unmitigated gall of these people is absolutely unbelievable!

In the United States of America, freedom of expression is protected by the most sacred document that has ever existed in our land, the Constitution of the United States of America. From it derive all of our rights, our protections and our duties as citizens. This attempt by Israel to take a dump on it is infuriating, reprehensible and totally unacceptable.

The deputy Foreign minister spoke of "incitement to violence." The only "incitement to violence" that has occurred in the Israeli occupied territories in Palestine is the illegal seizure of Palestinian land by Israel and its brutal repression and oppression of the Palestinian Arab population for decades. The United Nations reports that 7 out of every 10 Palestinian deaths at the hands of Israel are civilians.

Israel's request to censor Palestinian videos should be outright rejected.

We call on Google and YouTube to stand up for its customers and to support and defend the first amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America and completely rebuff the Minister's request.
