Maine has done it. Oregon should follow suit. Super delegates were created to thwart the will of the people. It's time for super delegates to go the way of the dinosaurs. Super delegates are an affront to democracy. Getting rid of super delegates won't in and of itself democratize the Democratic Party, but it is a good first step.
Why is this important?
I am starting this petition for Oregon because the Democratic Party elites and the political establishment should not have a veto over the will of the voters.
