Ban non-biodegradable packaging for food

Whether it comes from the grocery store or a fast food chain, nearly everything we eat comes packaged in plastic and styrofoam. Because these are not biodegradable materials, they are an increasing problem for our environment.

As long as it's legal, businesses will continue to use environmentally destructive materials in their packaging even though there are other options available. We demand that only biodegradable materials are used to package our food. America doesn't need to eat and drink out of non-biodegradable materials that we toss away every day, filling our landfills, rivers and oceans with toxic materials.

Take a stand for the future of our planet, and ban the use of non-biodegradable materials in the packaging of food products in America.
