The order of riding proficiency for boys in BMX is: Novice, Intermediate, Expert. The order of riding proficiency for girls in BMX is: Novice, Intermediate, Girls. This needs to change!

Why is this important?

My 6-year-old daughter asked me why girls aren't called "experts" in BMX. Not allowing girls to be classified as "experts" is an outdated gender-based stereotype that impacts the development of our kids. The girls in BMX should be granted the same honor that boys are granted after they work their way to the ultimate proficiency in amateur BMX racing.
