Connecticut must lead on climate and clean energy

We are citizens, ratepayers and clean energy supporters - and we want you to go bold for clean energy and climate action! Connecticut's Comprehensive Energy Strategy (CES) should:
1. Accelerate renewable energy by getting 50% of our electricity from renewable energy by 2030, like our neighbors in New York.
2. Let everyone go solar, rather than limiting our energy choices. We should be expanding access to solar through community solar, not closing it down.
Right now, Connecticut should lead the country in combating climate change, not join the President in moving us backwards.

In a recent poll, more than 3 in 4 Connecticut voters said they support expanding the use of solar energy. Across all demographics and party lines, supermajorities of Nutmeggers support transitioning to a clean energy system that benefits public health, reduces electric bills, and spurs a clean economy that creates jobs and local investments. The CES can be improved to deliver on that promise - one that the vast majority of Connecticut families and businesses believe in.
