They want our kids to make up all the days that are being missed due to the statewide teacher walk out. This is not fair to the kids who have no say so in the matter. The kids here do not have a whole summer to begin with, so why shorten it even more? DO NOT MAKE OUR KIDS MAKE UP THESE DAYS!
Why is this important?
This petition is about not making our children make up these days that are missed from school due to the statewide teacher walk out. Everyone with kids is affected by this, including me. The kids end school in late May into early June and start back early August. They do not have much of a summer as it is; do not make them make these days up! This is not their fault and they should not be held accountable. This is for all counties in the state of West Virginia.
