Require that all emergency rescue operations include our furry friends.
Why is this important?
Reports indicate that dogs have been left chained to poles, or stuck in cages, as the floodwaters rise around them. Families have been torn apart in the past, as emergency rescue operations have required guardians to leave their beloved dogs or cats behind. We're asking the head of the federal emergency rescue operations, William Long, to issue a policy requiring that all rescue personnel include dogs, cats, and other animals in their efforts to save lives.
