Fire the NM Game Commission

The current New Mexico Game Commission is rubber-stamping hunting and trapping proposals from the Game Department. We call on Governor Lujan Grisham to replace them with commissioners who will listen to the vast majority of the general public who do not hunt or trap.

Why is this important?

The New Mexico legislature has failed to restrict trapping, leaving it to the Game Commission, appointed by the governor, to respond to public outcry against this cruel practice. But the Game Commission has restricted public testimony at its meetings to a minute or two, in order to allow the Game Department to continue its hunting and trapping policies.
