Free Christina Williams

Christina Williams was wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for a crime she did not commit. She was convicted on 10 of 11 counts in Scioto County, Ohio. The charges ranged from tampering with evidence to aggravated murder. She was given a sentence of 67 years before the possibility of parole.
Christina was arrested after the deaths of Nina Mannering and Gary Markins, Sr.
Although admittedly a substance abuser at the time, Christina was not a murderer. She was arrested and convicted of these crimes based on no substantial evidence. There were many other suspects that were ignored, several of whom were known to be present relative to the time of death. Witnesses that could have exonerated Christina were not interviewed, even after these witnesses came to the police department and asked to volunteer their information. One witness at the scene testified during the trial that Christina was not even present when the crime occured.
There were weapons found at the scene, none of which could be associated with Christina. There were fingerprints recovered that would point to other suspects.
Police instead arrested and convicted a girl that was under the influence of drugs and had no comprehension of anything that was going on, let alone the capabilities to formulate a plan and carry out a crime. She was responsible for taking drugs, not for committing murder.
