***EXAMPLE*** I watch alternative news sources such as Secure Team 10 who reports UFO activity and strange anomalies around the world. I do not care what the CEO of YouTube thinks about UFO's or ANY other idea, nor do I care if any would-be petitioner believes in UFO's or not. What I care about is free speech and allowing the consumer to chose what content should be at the top of the page when first looking for something. Now when I look up search terms "UFO" instead of seeing a man who worked the last few years and got over 2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, and in my opinion gives more in depth info on the subject, I get CBS, NBC, and other national news chains to pop up for the first 10+ pages or so. We know what we want. If we want to see what the huge corporate news is saying on the subject, we all know how to type in the letters CBS or mainstream media before our search items. Please stop with your obsession on the political fronts, and let us who do not care about neither democrats or republicans see all the options available. Not just the ones you say are ok. Even in politics a very popular personality named Alex Jones was taken off the platform all together. I did not care for him nor did I buy into a lot of what he said, but it is because we as citizens should be able to listen to all sides and decide what we feel is right, wrong, good, and bad. You are making it impossible for people who are new to a subject to see anything except the mainstream media's opinion on it without having to dig for hours and hours. Let the view counts, the seo, keywords, and whatever else you used to use in late 2018 do the talking. The old algorithms did just fine, and the new ones censor and limit us. I know you are a company who can monitor or censor anything you want. But you should not. It was what made you the place to come in order to find all the possibilities instead of just the ones the news stations wanted us to hear. Reagradless of how "outlandish" it seems to you. We are smart enough to decide what is and what is not real. If YouTube only wants us to hear the mainstream news, then we all need to just go back to our cable providers and listen to them and be done with YouTube. You need to trust that even though some fall victim to "fake news" that it is still our choice to be ignorant or educated on all the news. Not just your accepted versions.
