Help Save Social Security: Remove the Tax Cap

Right now, the Social Security system is in danger of collapse. One solution is to remove the current Social Security tax cap. At present, a billionaire pays the same amount of money into Social Security as someone who makes $118,500 per year. That's because there is a cap on taxable income that funds the Social Security system. This cap should be lifted to that everyone pays the same percentage of their income into Social Security.

Why is this important?

Removing the tax cap is the best solution to the Social Security crisis. It would result in everyone paying their fair share of taxes, and the solvency of the Social Security system would be significantly extended.
