Keep Diane Graham Out of the Classroom

On 2/28/2018, MISD Superintendent Chris Dyer told KCRG News that disgraced teacher Diane Graham would be reinstated and working with kids at Vernon Middle School. Though she was acquitted of criminal charges, the school district has paid over $2 million in settlements to families of children molested under her supervision. Mrs. Graham has no business setting the inside of a classroom again after having betrayed the public's trust, and we petition Superintendent Dyer to reconsider this decision.

Why is this important?

Though she was cleared of charges, Mrs. Graham should not be trusted to work with children again in any setting. If MISD feels she should be kept in their employ, a non-teaching role with no student interaction should be how this is accomplished.
