Keep Mike Shannhan Out Of The Pro Football Hall Of Fame
The lack of integrity as leader of the Washington Redskins Football organization. Mike was paid as one of the highest paid coaches in the NFL and received all monies due him. In return he attempted to undermine the future of the Redskins organization after receiving full compensation. He violated the spirit of competition in the NFL by benching his best player. He hired his son creating a conflict of interest between his duties and his family while profiting from this conflict.
Why is this important?
To protect the integrity of the Hall of Fame. He violated the game of football for profit. Took advantage of a franchise. He got his money but he sacrificed his integrity.
