MTV is reportedly considering rebooting "MTV Unplugged." If they do, the company MUST make an IRONCLAD RULE that no one can clap at the beginning of songs.
Why is this important?
Like many, I have winced while listening to otherwise great MTV Unplugged tracks when yahoos and dummies break into "spontaneous" applause at the beginnings of songs. "Oh," such imbeciles seem to be saying, "I am the person who recognizes this song!" If the show is to return, we must nip such showboating behavior in the bud, to protect future generations.
