No Enbridge Tar Sands Pipeline Expansion
Deny Enbridge Inc. the permits to increase capacity above 450,000 barrels per day in Line 67, the "Alberta Clipper" tar sands oil pipeline from Alberta, Canada, to Superior, Wisconsin, with multiple passes over the headwaters of the Mississippi River. Most of the oil will be exported, and it includes additional environmental risks beyond that of Keystone XL, including transferring more toxic oil and oil-like substances from areas in Alberta that have proven to be massively unstable for drilling.
Why is this important?
Don't Like Keystone XL? Take Action to end Enbridge pipeline expansion that would make it bigger than KXL. The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission failed us and now we need to call on President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry - both of whom need to sign off on this expansion before it can happen.
