Philly DA: CLEAR Tomayo McDuffy

Please join Asa Khalif of Racial Unity USA in a petition to the Philadelphia District Attorney to drop charges of home invasion and attempted murder against Tomayo McDuffy, a Philadelphia high school student with no criminal record and a solid reputation.
Tomayo, a promising basketball star and aspiring writer was charged solely on the testimony of the visually impaired accuser with a record of false allegations. The accuser alleges that two suspects burst into her home and turned on the gas stove. She claims that from her upstairs bedroom she heard Tomayo's voice exiting the house.
Based on that claim alone, Tomayo was arrested, charged and bail set at $500,000.
Tomayo served 145 days at CFCF, a state prison, before community activists, family and friends were able to get a lower bail. To this date, despite community outcries, the DA refuses to drop the charges. Even though there is no physical evidence tying Tomayo to the scene and testimony that he was sick and at home at the time, he faces 60 to 80 years in prison.
Please sign our petition to the Philadelphia District Attorney to drop the charges and clear young Tomayo McDuff's record.
Thank you.

Why is this important?

Racial Unity USA along with other community organizations, individuals and Tomayo McDuff's family are seeking relief from this questionable even bizarre accusation and the resulting charges. And to break the pipeline from grade school to prison.
