Protect The Delivery of Mail In The USA
The US Postal Service is guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States in Article 1, Clause 8, Section 7. We challenge The President of the United States of America and the full body of Congress to protect and enhance the delivery of the mail.
1. We support six-day delivery of mail and demand it continues.
2. We support and demand mail be delivered in hours of daylight whenever possible.
3. We support hiring more city and rural carriers so all routes can be covered by a regular mail-person or their relief carrier on a daily basis. With reasonable accommodations for illness, injury, or vacation.
4. We support and demand door to door delivery of mail continue including all new construction.
Why is this important?
There is a continuing effort to try and reduce the level of service the US Postal Service provides to the people of the USA. We believe this is against the Constitution of the United States and against the very moral fiber of our country. We support a vibrant public post office that delivers to every known address in America.
