Publishers should decrease the price of online textbooks for college students. There is no need to charge high prices if the material does not need to be printed.
Why is this important?
Many students forgo textbooks simply because they cannot afford them. Since more than 70% of profits from textbooks go to the publisher, we believe that publishers should decrease the prices to make books more affordable. Keep in mind, most college students are working minimum wage jobs and simply cannot afford $100 and even $200 textbooks.
