Restore Pell Grants

Mr. President and the members of Congress…

The Pell Grant Program is an important program for many students. Students who are attending Community Colleges and who hope to transfer to Universities, non-traditional students, including working parents, and poor and minority students all rely on Pell Grants to assist them in obtaining an advanced education. The recent harm done to the Pell Grant program by our elected officials harms these students disproportionately.

A great America is only possible with an educated populace. Students who have had the determination to attend school for more than one year and who are in good academic standing with an accredited, not-for-profit institution – Community Colleges, Universities, and Technical Schools - deserve your support.

Restore the Pell Grant Program for students attending not-for-profit schools.

Why is this important?

Recent cuts to the Pell Grant program hurt Communist College students, non-traditional students as well as poor and minority students. We need educated Americans in order to rebuild America after the economics disasters of the last few years.
Restore Pell Grants to student attending not-for-profit schools.
