Restore Youth Baseball Fields in Griffith Park

Baseball fields were removed from Griffith Park when the 5 Freeway was built and now the City of Los Angeles wants to put them back at the Crystal Springs location in Griffith Park. Help us let the kids play ball again!

Why is this important?

We have 14 elementary and 4 middle schools in the Griffith Park area and no Little League in an era when afterschool activities & sports are being cut. Our children, especially those at risk, between the ages of 8-14, need positive outlets for their growth. Youth sports are proven to be a beneficial influence in a child's life. There is a small group opposing the fields due to the removal of approximately 40 trees, which the City has said will be replaced at least 2:1.

We need to show as much support as possible to the City of Los Angeles. Email now by December 1st why you support youth sports and two new baseball fields in Griffith Park to [email protected]. Thousands of children thank you.
