RI join CT to Label Genetically Modified Foods

Rhode Island and Providence Plantations legislators: Please pass a bill like Connecticut's that requires food manufacturers to label products containing genetically modified ingredients.

Why is this important?

Connecticut became the first state to pass a bill that would require food manufacturers to label products that contain genetically modified ingredients. It's our turn now. We want to know what we are eating. GM products are unproven. We have a right to be informed.
