SAVE ROUTE 279 NOW

To be delivered to BLACK HEALTH COALITION OF WI, MILWAUKEE INNER-CITY CONGREGATIONS ALLIED FOR HOPE, and MILWAUKEE COUNTY TRANSIT SYSTEM

Petition Statement

MILWAUKEE to Menomonee Falls Industrial Park – Route 279 Ridership sabotaged by Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope/MICAH, Black Health Coalition/BHCW, and Milwaukee County Transit System/MCTS - riders now and over the last 2 years to hot spot employment will no longer have Route 279 to get to work.

Route 279 is being arbitrarily and capriciously pulled without communication with the 279 Ridership, company Human Resource, chamber of commerce, and Village government. The failure to use the additional $2 million that was part of the settlement to enhance the customer care service of the Blue line and Route 279 so more jobs can be had that are 7 days a week and all three shifts.
Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC ask that we stop this injustice and Reboot. Sign Now.

Petition Background

MCTS has set an abrupt ELIMINATION OF ROUTE date of Saturday, August 27, 2016.

Let us make sure we register support for our brothers and sisters who are about to have Route 279 pulled without due process.
