Senator Portman, Host a Town Hall

Your constituents want to make their voices heard during the first congressional recess of the 115th Congress, but it's not easy to do if you do not host a town hall or other public event. You were elected to represent the people, so you should host an event to listen to what the public has to say!

Why is this important?

I have personally had difficulty reaching Senator Portman. When I am able to reach his office by phone, I am assured that my messages will be "passed along", and when I email or fax I receive canned responses only after my wishes - and the wishes of many other Ohioans - have been disregarded. Senator Portman, you need to face your constituents. Hold a public event!
