Trump’s latest appointee, Michael Dourson, spent his career helping Big Tobacco, Teflon makers, and other corporations downplay the risks of their chemicals. He doesn’t belong at the EPA where he would have the power to greenlight toxics like asbestos, lead, and BPA —substances that have been linked to cancer, delayed mental development, and major reproductive harm.
