Stop the Killings at the Miami -Dade Animal Shelter
Voters voted for an increase in their taxes to change the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter a no-kill shelter. However, up to this date, they are still killing animals even before the grace period. Where is the money given to the county for this purpose? Mr. Mayor, please stop the killings of healthy and adoptable dogs, stop the inhumane practices conducted by employees that leave animals in such a shape that they become useless and are killed afterward. Please help them.
Why is this important?
Dogs and cats are being killed unnecessarily, even a few hours after they are turned in. Veterinarian students are conducting experiments causing animals to die. This is unacceptable; voters in the County increased their taxes so the shelter could become a no-kill shelter. However, the Mayor decided to use the money for something else, disregarding the will of the citizens. Help stop the nonsense killings. Remember, we have the voting power.
