The Trump middle class tax increase will hit active duty military and their families particularly hard. Congress must ensure that taxes are not raised on those who have volunteered to risk their lives in the service of our country.
Why is this important?
I have a child who is about to enter military service. Choosing to serve one's country already involves making numerous sacrifices -- financial as well as risking life and limb. Military personnel and their families should not be asked to sacrifice even more while millionaires and billionaires sacrifice nothing.
