Take Down the Confederate Flags at Stone Mountain!

To be delivered to Jane Cooper, President & Chief Operating Officer,, Michael Dombrowski, Vice President and General Manager, Stone Mountain Park, The Georgia State House, The Georgia State Senate, and Governor Nathan Deal

Petition Statement

Stone Mountain can have historical and educational context, but should not celebrate a culture of hate. Flying the flag is a sign of respect and honor, neither of which should be given to racism and a legacy of enslaving people.
There are currently 1,092 signatures. NEW goal - We need 2,000 signatures!

Petition Background

The Confederate flag perpetuates values of and pride in white supremacy and racism. We believe that every person should be able to visit the park without seeing blatant signs of hate.
