We Stand With The Majority: Pass Laws to Prevent Gun Violence Now

Americans overwhelmingly agree: The time is now to take meaningful action against gun violence.

These are the facts:

78% of Americans support allowing courts to prevent people who are considered a danger to themselves or others from possessing a gun.
(AP/NORC Center poll)

72% support raising the legal age to buy guns to 21.
(Fox News poll)

66% of all voters support stricter gun laws.
(POLITICO/Morning Consult poll)

63% support a ban on the sale and possession of high-capacity or extended ammunition magazines.
(CNN poll)

60% support a ban on assault weapons
(Fox News poll)

The time for action is now. I stand with my friends and neighbors in the majority and call upon Delaware legislators to vote for what is right, what is sensible, and what your constituents want you to do.

Pass gun legislation in Delaware THIS YEAR.

Why is this important?

Here in Delaware, our General Assembly is on the precipice of passing common sense reforms to prevent gun violence, but we need your help. We can't let the voices of a clear majority be drowned out by a loud few who oppose any and all gun violence legislation.

We need to make sure our governor and the General Assembly know that Delawareans stand with our fellow Americans on these critical reforms.
