West Virginia Stands with the Paris Climate Agreement
West Virginia needs to protect the beautiful surroundings that encompass our great state and prevent further damage from climate change that threatens to destroy our natural resources. Encourage Governor Jim Justice to stand up and speak out for all of West Virginia to follow the directions put forth by the Paris Climate Agreement recently eviscerated by Donald Trump.
Why is this important?
Our beautiful state has been a great tourist attraction for many years due to our natural resources such as our national forests, our rivers, lakes, and many rapids. People from all over come here to relax, take in Mother Nature's beauty, and explore our beautiful state parks and lakes. Even in the winter, this state offers an abundance of skiing and winter activities. We need to defend all of this natural beauty from the ravages of climate change and damaging forces being brought down upon our state. Please sign this petition to encourage our lawmakers to follow in the footsteps of 12 other states by passing a bill to protect us according to the Paris Climate Agreement and Stand Up and Speak Out against the Trump administration's decision to put our great state at risk in the future.
